Association President:
Traci
Hayner Vanover - Traci is a freelance marketer and publicist, as well as
the publisher of
Create the
Dream! Magazine.
Her design career began in her early childhood; she used to carry a
little red "briefcase" stuffed full of all manner of art supplies with
her everywhere she went. Her entrepreneurial spirit was alive even back
then -- she was often found pitching her "limited edition" creations to
friends and family alike.
After spending a number of years in the marketing departments of some of
the nation's leading industrial manufacturers, she decided to strike out
on her own. Soon afterward, Traci began her freelance business, The
Creative Concept -- providing consulting, marketing and PR services to
small businesses, authors, and artisans in a number of disciplines. The
years she spent in the trenches have provided her with a keen sense for
the market, a strong work ethic, and creative spark that has often been
referred to as a "fireball".
She grudgingly admits to two addictions -- fonts, and Diet Coke®. On
most days you'll find a conga line of empty cans across her desk --
which she maintains are integral to the creative process.
